Halloween

Hello My Love,

Sorry this took so long to post, maybe someday I'll get better at it. Maybe not... We'll see. Anyhoo, we had a fantastic Halloween weekend and I took lots of pics of you in your Isa-Butterfly costume. Here goes:

The Pumpkin Patch:
This wasn’t the best adventure for us. You were tired and cranky, I was tired and cranky… it was a rough afternoon. We somehow managed to get a couple of good pics, but you do not want to smile for pictures anymore. Whenever I tell you to smile for a picture, you just bare your teeth at me. It’s a little frustrating, especially since I’ve had a camera in your face since the day you were born. Katie and Daddy came with us to the pumpkin patch this year, Katie really liked playing with all the straw. Daddy thinks that I may be expecting too much for your pictures… I haven’t decided if he is right or not.

Friday:
We had dinner with Grandma Terry, Grandpa Frank, Aunt Cynthia, Mia, and Gabriel at Cheddars followed immediately by a trip to Six Flags. Daddy and I thought you would have fun trick or treating during Fright Fest. We were running late and Gabriel didn't have a costume, so you didn't get to wear yours or trick or treat either. I was a little disappointed for you, but it may be been for the best: you would have frozen your little butterfly booty off, it was freezing! Poor Gabriel didn’t have a jacket so he was really cold. You had fun watching the shows and riding the spinning pool balls. You were a little bit afraid of the monsters, especially the big ones with stilts and glowing eyes… You and Gabriel must have been really tired, though, because you both fell asleep before the last show was over.

Sunday:
We started the day watching Halloween cartoons and then we went to lunch at Grandma Nettie’s. Since Zoe and Raven were already wearing their costumes, we went ahead and let you get dressed up too. You were so cute in your costume running around the backyard blowing bubbles with Daddy. I think we might need to see Raven and Zoe a little more often so you’ll play with them instead of being so shy next time.

After lunch we came home so we could get everything ready and Daddy needed to go to school. We made some candy while Daddy was gone and Aunt Amy and Uncle Paul stopped by with Katie. She was too cute in her bumble bee costume. Then you crashed out for a quick nap on the sofa. While you were sleeping Daddy carved the pumpkin and I made some extra candy.

Then it was dress up/ make up time again. You were so excited about wearing makeup all day. Back to Grandma Nettie’s so Wello and Wella could see your costume, and Wello made a special trick or treat bag, just for you.

Next stop, Grandma Terry & Grandpa Frank’s house. You were so very scared of all the decorations they had, I had to carry you through the garage and in to the house. Once you were inside, no problem. Auntie Juliet, Uncle Robert, Michael, Gabriel, and Mia were all there!

Sorry, I know this is longer than the others have been and there are way more pictures. I couldn't narrow it down any further...

Love you Goosey!!
