Hey Goosey!
You are growing so fast I can't keep up! It makes me proud and sad at the same time. I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. You bought me the most beautiful ring and necklace set. I've been wearing one or the other (or both) almost everyday since you gave them to me. We went out to lunch with Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, Auntie Juliet, Uncle Robert, Michael, Gabriel, and Mia at your favorite place, The Alamo Cafe. Yumminess! You and your Daddy are very good to me! In the evening we went to visit Grandma Nettie and take her a little something. You made her a card, it was beautiful! You also made one for Wella. You are so thoughtful and inclusive, it makes my heart swell!

For Father's Day this year you had some interesting gift ideas. Once I crossed out the gifts that there was no way I could afford (like a car!), you narrowed it down to, "Daddy needs new underwear!" I tried and tried to talk you out of it, it seemed like a strange gift to me, but you would have none of it. I should've just gone with it in the first place because you were right on trend. A few days after you made your decision I ran across a post on one of the crafting blogs that I read about making special "DAD" boxers. It was perfect! We had your portraits done the day before father's day, an adventure unto itself, and we made a little gift for Wello too. You are such a giving and generous person, when I first asked what we should get for daddy you replied "A new car!" I wish Mommy had had more money to spend on everyone this year. I always want to get way more than I can afford, especially for you but that's another story.
